Glasgow – Inland except that the River Clyde accommodates large ships that are built here, lowland, business capital, the old city is dying but the new city is thriving, the medieval university is exciting.
Especially interesting to us – the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum was built as a replica of the Spanish Baroque styled Santiago de Compostela Cathedral in Spain which holds a special place in our hearts as it was the destination of our two Camino’s.
