About Paige Shaw

Bitten by the wanderlust bug years ago - I have become an eyewitness to and documenter of the world’s divergent cultures (92 countries and counting). Photographing vistas that take my breath away, extraordinary architecture and connecting with everyday people doing everyday things. I am constantly reminded that a smile is the same in any language, that making a connection with something so simple is beautiful. Watching my photography transform from using a point and shoot in the old days to the new love of my life - the incredible Sony a7rii mirrorless camera - has inspired me to do more, take chances and seek out the unknown. I’m also a wife, mother, yogi, pilgrim, burner, skier, scuba diver and gypsy. “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” ― Pablo Picasso

I showed the Keukenhof pictures to my Ikebana teacher (sensi) this afternoon and she loved them. Thanks for sharing. We saw this many years ago and were wowed as you were!

No. I have been with my teacher for 30 years. The only Japanese I now are Ikebana terms.
