I spent some time there in college. Although I was based in Haarlem, I took the train into Amsterdam regularly. Mostly just strolling the streets and soaking it all in, really. I didn’t have much money at the time, but I did stop into every cheese shop I could. Dutch cheese is so good! I was there to study art history so I spent a lot of time in the museums studying the works of artists like Jan Van Eyck and Frans Hals.
