Yesterday we lost power to our house lasting 24 hours – no way to get the car out of the garage – no internet – no photo of the day – no big deal. Last night – 90 degrees – high humidity – no wind, no fans, no escape.
Today, in hindsight it all seems insignificant, petty and selfish.
A mental balancing act.

Today I can’t help myself. I decided on 3 images in order to frame the main photo.
Walking to the Mallick Ghat Flower Market in Kolkata we passed an itty bitty tea shop – ground level with an opening about 2 foot tall by 3 foot wide – harboring the cutest shop keeper in the world. Surrounded by terracotta tea cups – squatting to fit – beaming from ear to ear.
